A practice change led to the need for a family house, which incorporated spaces for a drawing office and secretary – Barn Pightle not being large or adaptable enough. The Dining/Kitchen was on the ground floor and a full height conservatory helped to light the Drawing Office as well. The admin was above the double Garage and when the practice took over the first floor Sitting Room, the Office moved to Wivenhoe in 1988!
